On the road again. This time - Seattle! Ah Yes, home of persnickety coffee drinkers and flannel riddled rage-rs. Cookie Chef Babo in watching his regularly scheduled local news discovered that this weekend is the Space Needle's 50th birthday. Whoa! Suddenly it dawned on Cookie Chef Babo: he has never been to the Space Needle. Now has never been a better time to go and visit. So he threw some cookies in the cooler and hit the road.

Well..................... Cookie Chef Babo got into Seattle and went to the straight to the Space Needle except Cookie Chef Babo didn't realize just how very, very, very, high up the Space Needle was and...........................

He got a nice picture with the Space Needle; from down the block.

Hic-ups happen all the time. It's just part of life. Cookie Chef Babo knows this and knows that nothing helps a wobbly spirit better than helping out other wobbly spirits. A thoroughly generous time was had by all. All hail the geeky late bloomers who have helped to over develop all of technical lives.

Alas, this road trip has turned out to be everything non-Seattle. Cookie Chef Babo was hours into his Seattle trip and he hadn't even had a cup of coffee nor felt a drop of rain.

The bottom line - It's his first trip to Seattle and he had something he needed to do. A serious cookie free task. Cookie Chef Babo needed a moment...............

Cookie Chef Babo is an adoring admirer of Mr. Kurt D. Cobain  [former lead singer of Nirvana]. Clearly so are many others.

Seattle turned out to be a little more solemn than he thought it would be but then again maybe Seattle is a misunderstood city to begin with.
